- Financial Reporting & Control: Prepare monthly/annual financial statements and manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow.
- Inventory & Cost Management: Track raw materials (gold, gems) through production to sale, ensuring precise inventory valuation and regular physical audits.
- Compliance & Tax: Manage GST, TDS, EPF, and statutory filings, and oversee annual audits.
- Accounts Management: Oversee accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and vendor/customer accounts.
- Operations & Systems: Implement accounting policies and use specialized software (Tally, Jewellery ERP)
Desired Candidate Profile
- Experience: Proven experience in the jewellery manufacturing or retail sector, often 8-10+ years for a Head role.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of Tally ERP, MS Excel (advanced), and industry-specific inventory valuation techniques.
