Job Summary
Pipettemann Calibration Laboratory LLP is seeking a detail-oriented Calibration Engineer to perform calibration, verification, and maintenance of laboratory instruments in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025 requirements. The role involves both laboratory-based and on-site calibration, ensuring accurate measurements, proper documentation, and excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform calibration of laboratory instruments and equipment in accordance with established procedures and ISO/IEC 17025 requirements.
- Carry out on-site calibration services at customer locations.
- Verify instrument performance using traceable reference standards.
- Maintain calibration records, certificates, and technical documentation accurately.
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and maintenance of calibration standards and equipment.
- Identify and troubleshoot basic instrument issues during calibration.
- Generate calibration certificates and service reports.
- Coordinate with customers regarding calibration schedules and technical requirements.
- Ensure compliance with quality management system procedures.
- Assist in internal audits, proficiency testing, and quality improvement activities.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the calibration laboratory.
- Support installation, commissioning, and basic servicing of laboratory equipment when required.
Qualifications
- Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Biomedical, Chemical, Mechatronics, or a related engineering discipline.
- Freshers with good technical aptitude are encouraged to apply.
- Experience in calibration or laboratory instrumentation is an added advantage.
Required Skills
- Good understanding of measurement principles and uncertainty concepts.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word).
- Ability to understand technical manuals and calibration procedures.
- Willingness to travel for on-site calibration assignments.
- Valid two-wheeler driving license preferred.
