We are seeking a dedicated, competent, and enthusiastic TGT English Teacher to teach students at the Middle and Secondary levels (up to Class X). The ideal candidate should have a strong command of the English language and literature, along with the ability to make learning interactive, engaging, and relevant to students’ everyday lives. The teacher will play an important role in developing students’ communication skills, creativity, critical thinking, reading habits, and confidence in using the English language.
Key Responsibilities- Teach English effectively at the Middle and Secondary levels as per the prescribed curriculum.
- Plan and deliver well-structured, engaging lessons using innovative and student-centric teaching methodologies.
- Develop students’ proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, listening, grammar, vocabulary, and literary appreciation.
- Use digital tools, multimedia resources, activities, projects, role plays, discussions, and experiential learning strategies to enhance classroom learning.
- Assess, record, and monitor students’ academic progress through regular assignments, projects, class tests, assessments, and examinations.
- Encourage students to participate in discussions, debates, presentations, creative writing, and other language-enrichment activities.
- Foster critical thinking, creativity, effective communication, and a strong interest in English language and literature.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages active participation and collaborative learning.
- Provide academic guidance and timely feedback to students and maintain effective communication with parents regarding student progress.
- Participate actively in school activities, examinations, meetings, educational excursions, and professional development programmes.
- Follow school policies, academic guidelines, and child safety norms while maintaining discipline and a positive learning atmosphere.
Qualifications & Experience
- Graduate/Postgraduate degree in English or a related discipline from a recognized university.
- B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification (mandatory).
- Minimum 2–3 years of teaching experience in a recognized school is preferred.
- Candidates with experience teaching English at the Middle and Secondary levels will be preferred.
