Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Sous Chef specializing in Continental and Asian cuisine to support kitchen operations, maintain high food quality standards, and lead the culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership skills, hands-on cooking expertise, and the ability to manage fast-paced kitchen environments efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Executive Chef in managing day-to-day kitchen operations.
- Prepare and oversee Continental and Asian dishes while ensuring consistency in taste, presentation, and quality.
- Supervise kitchen staff, including line cooks and commis chefs.
- Ensure mise en place and food preparation are completed according to operational standards.
- Monitor food quality, portion control, and hygiene standards.
- Develop and contribute to innovative menu items and seasonal specials.
- Maintain inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies and ingredients.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and HACCP standards.
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff to improve performance and efficiency.
- Coordinate with service staff to ensure timely food delivery during operations.
- Control food costs and minimize wastage through effective kitchen management.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef or Senior CDP in Continental and Asian cuisine.
- Strong knowledge of international cooking techniques, sauces, wok cooking, grilling, and plating.
- Ability to work in a high-pressure and fast-paced environment.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills.
- Sound understanding of kitchen hygiene and food safety regulations.
- Diploma or degree in Culinary Arts or Hotel Management preferred.
- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant culinary experience.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹75,000.00 per month
