Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Safety Engineer to join our team. The Safety Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the safety of all workers on our RCC, bricks, and plaster projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction safety, with the ability to enforce regulations and promote a culture of safety on the job site.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Safety Compliance:
· Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal safety regulations.
· Develop and implement safety policies and procedures specific to RCC, bricks, and plaster projects.
· Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify and rectify potential hazards.
2. Risk Assessment and Management:
· Perform risk assessments for all construction activities.
· Develop and implement strategies to mitigate identified risks.
· Monitor and review risk management processes to ensure ongoing effectiveness.
3. Training and Education:
· Conduct safety training sessions for all site workers, including new hires.
· Keep the workforce informed about safety protocols and the importance of following them.
· Ensure all workers are properly trained in the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
4. Incident Investigation:
· Investigate all incidents and accidents to determine the cause and recommend preventive measures.
· Prepare detailed reports of findings and corrective actions taken.
· Maintain a log of all incidents and ensure follow-up actions are completed.
5. Safety Communication:
· Maintain clear communication channels with project managers, supervisors, and workers regarding safety issues.
· Ensure that safety notices, warnings, and signs are clearly posted and visible around the site.
· Facilitate regular safety meetings to discuss safety performance and areas for improvement.
6. Documentation and Reporting:
· Maintain comprehensive safety records, including training logs, incident reports, and inspection checklists.
· Prepare regular safety reports for senior management and regulatory bodies.
· Ensure all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
7. On-site Supervision:
· Spend a significant amount of time on-site to monitor compliance and provide immediate support.
· Ensure that all safety equipment is properly maintained and available.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 3-7 years of experience in a safety role within the construction industry, preferably with experience in RCC, bricks, and plaster projects.
In-depth knowledge of construction safety standards and regulations.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Relevant safety certifications (e.g., OSHA, NEBOSH) are highly desirable.
Working Conditions:
Primarily on-site with some office work.
Exposure to varying weather conditions.
Must be able to wear and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
