About the Role
We are seeking a seasoned and result-oriented Corporate HR Manager to lead the Human Resources function across our Corporate Office and Manufacturing Operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the manufacturing sector, preferably in the Nutraceutical or Pharmaceutical industry, with proven expertise in talent acquisition, workforce planning, statutory compliance, employee engagement, and HR operations.
The role demands a strategic HR professional who can align people practices with business objectives while ensuring operational excellence and statutory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end Talent Acquisition, including workforce planning, recruitment strategy, employer branding, and onboarding.
- Develop annual manpower plans aligned with business growth and expansion objectives.
- Drive employee retention initiatives, succession planning, and leadership development programs.
- Manage Payroll operations and ensure timely processing with complete statutory compliance.
- Oversee compliance related to PF, ESI, Gratuity, Bonus, Labour Laws, Shops & Establishments Act, and other applicable regulations.
- Conduct periodic HR Audits across Corporate Office and Manufacturing Plants to ensure policy compliance and process effectiveness.
- Design, implement, and continuously improve Performance Management Systems (PMS), KRAs, KPIs, and competency frameworks.
- Drive employee engagement, culture-building initiatives, recognition programs, and grievance resolution mechanisms.
- Administer HRMS, including attendance, leave management, gate pass systems, employee records, and HR analytics.
- Develop and update HR Policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Job Descriptions, and organizational frameworks.
- Manage recruitment portals and external hiring partners to ensure an effective talent pipeline.
- Provide strategic HR insights and MIS reports to senior management for informed decision-making.
- Partner with business leaders to build high-performing teams and foster a performance-driven culture.
- Lead and mentor the HR team while driving continuous process improvement.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Minimum 10 years of progressive HR experience in a Manufacturing environment.
- Prior experience in Nutraceutical, Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, Food Processing, or FMCG Manufacturing will be preferred.
- Demonstrated expertise across the entire HR lifecycle, including Talent Acquisition, HR Operations, Employee Relations, Performance Management, and Statutory Compliance.
- Strong understanding of Indian Labour Laws and HR compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working with HRMS and Payroll systems.
- Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Willingness to travel to manufacturing facilities and recruitment locations as required.
