On-Site Engineer – Job Description
Position: On-Site Engineer
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise interior fit-out and finishing works at the project site.
* Ensure work is carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
* Coordinate with architects, designers, contractors, and vendors.
* Monitor daily site activities and prepare progress reports.
* Check measurements and quantities before execution.
* Ensure timely completion of interior works such as carpentry, false ceiling, flooring, painting, electrical, plumbing, and furniture installation.
* Conduct quality inspections and rectify defects.
* Ensure compliance with safety regulations and site procedures.
* Attend site meetings and update management on project progress.
* Manage material deliveries and site inventory.
Requirements:
* Diploma/B.Tech/B.E. in Civil Engineering, Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.
* Experience in interior fit-out projects preferred.
* Knowledge of AutoCAD and reading technical drawings.
* Good communication and coordination skills.
* Ability to manage labor teams and subcontractors.
