- Patient Care: Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating. Help with mobility, turning, and preventing bedsores. [1]
- Medical Assistance: Monitor vital signs (temperature, blood pressure, pulse) and report any physical or behavioral changes to the nursing staff. [1, 2]
- Transportation: Move patients to various departments (e.g., operating rooms, X-ray rooms) using wheelchairs or stretchers. [1]
- Clinical Support: Prepare examination rooms, sterilize medical instruments, and carry critical test results or medications between hospital departments. [1, 2]
- Sanitation & Maintenance: Clean and sanitize patient rooms, sanitize equipment like wheelchairs, and manage hazardous waste according to hospital
