Position: Warehouse Operations & Logistics Manager
Department: Supply Chain / Operations
Location: Mahape, Navi Mumbai
Reporting To: Head – Operations / Director – Operations
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Operations & Logistics Manager to oversee end-to-end warehouse operations, inventory management, dispatch planning, transportation, and logistics coordination. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient warehouse processes, maintain inventory accuracy, optimize logistics costs, and ensure timely deliveries while adhering to quality, safety, and compliance standards.
Key ResponsibilitiesWarehouse Operations
- Manage daily warehouse activities including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch.
- Ensure optimum space utilization and proper stock organization.
- Implement FIFO/FEFO practices wherever applicable.
- Maintain warehouse hygiene, safety, and operational discipline.
- Monitor warehouse productivity and improve operational efficiency.
Inventory Management
- Ensure accurate inventory records in ERP/WMS.
- Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly stock audits.
- Investigate inventory variances and implement corrective actions.
- Monitor stock ageing, slow-moving, damaged, and expired inventory.
- Maintain inventory accuracy above 99%.
Logistics & Dispatch
- Plan and monitor dispatch schedules to ensure timely deliveries.
- Coordinate with transporters for cost-effective vehicle allocation.
- Track shipments and resolve delivery issues proactively.
- Optimize freight costs and improve vehicle utilization.
- Ensure proper documentation including invoices, e-way bills, delivery challans, and transport records.
Team Management
- Lead warehouse supervisors, dispatch executives, loaders, and warehouse staff.
- Prepare duty rosters and manpower planning.
- Conduct regular team training on SOPs and safety.
- Monitor team productivity and performance.
Vendor & Transport Management
- Develop and maintain relationships with transport vendors.
- Negotiate freight rates and service agreements.
- Monitor transporter performance and delivery timelines.
- Evaluate vendor KPIs regularly.
Process Improvement
- Develop and implement warehouse SOPs.
- Improve picking accuracy and dispatch efficiency.
- Reduce order processing time and logistics costs.
- Drive automation and process digitization initiatives.
Compliance & Safety
- Ensure compliance with company policies and statutory regulations.
- Maintain proper warehouse documentation.
- Conduct safety audits and implement preventive measures.
- Ensure adherence to food safety standards (if applicable).
Reporting & MIS
- Prepare daily warehouse and dispatch reports.
- Monitor logistics expenses and warehouse KPIs.
- Present monthly operational performance reports to management.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Commerce, Engineering, or related field.
- MBA/PGDM in Operations or Supply Chain is preferred.
Experience
- 6–12 years of experience in Warehouse Operations & Logistics.
- Minimum 3 years in a managerial role.
- Experience in FMCG, Food Manufacturing, Retail, E-commerce, Distribution, or Supply Chain operations is preferred.
Pay: ₹14,595.44 - ₹40,000.00 per month
