Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Node.js Developer with 1 year of professional experience to develop and maintain scalable backend applications and APIs. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Node.js, Express.js, databases, and modern backend development practices. The candidate should be passionate about writing clean, efficient code and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance backend applications using Node.js and Express.js.
- Design, develop, and integrate secure and scalable RESTful APIs.
- Work with databases such as MongoDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
- Collaborate with frontend developers, QA engineers, and other team members to deliver end-to-end solutions.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize application performance.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving development processes.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and recommend improvements where applicable.
Required Skills
- 1+ year of professional experience in Node.js development.
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+) and Express.js.
- Hands-on experience in designing and consuming REST APIs.
- Good understanding of MongoDB and/or SQL databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL).
- Experience with Git version control.
- Understanding and implementation of JWT authentication and authorization.
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage assigned tasks effectively.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Socket.IO, Docker, or cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) is an added advantage.
- Knowledge of TypeScript is a plus.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies is preferred.
