Role Overview
The Printing Production Supervisor will be responsible for supervising daily printing operations, ensuring production targets are achieved on time while maintaining quality, machine efficiency, and safety standards. The role requires close coordination with Pre-Press, Binding, Warehouse, and Dispatch teams to ensure smooth production flow.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and monitor daily printing production activities.
- Plan and allocate production work to operators and machine staff.
- Ensure production targets are achieved within quality and delivery timelines.
- Monitor machine utilization, productivity, and minimize downtime.
- Ensure preventive maintenance and proper functioning of printing equipment.
- Coordinate with Pre-Press, Binding, Warehouse, and Dispatch teams for smooth workflow.
- Monitor consumption of paper, ink, plates, and other production materials.
- Maintain production reports, machine logs, and MIS records.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards, safety procedures, and company policies.
- Train, guide, and supervise production staff while driving continuous process improvements.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Printing Technology, Graphic Arts, or a related field.
- 5–7 years of experience in printing production, preferably in the Publishing or Printing industry.
- Strong knowledge of printing processes, printing machines, production planning, and quality control.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and production reporting systems.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage production teams and meet delivery deadlines efficiently.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
