Job Description: Marketing Automation & Retention Specialist

Job Specification:
We are seeking a highly analytical and execution-driven Automation & Retention Marketing Specialist to own end-to-end customer lifecycle marketing. This role will focus on building automated journeys, improving customer retention, and driving personalized engagement across multiple channels. You will play a key role in maximizing customer lifetime value (LTV) through data-led strategies and scalable automation.

Design and execute retention and lifecycle marketing strategies to drive repeat usage and customer loyalty

Build, manage, and optimize automated workflows across channels such as WhatsApp, email, SMS, and push notifications

Develop advanced CRM segmentation using behavioral, transactional, and engagement data

Create and manage end-to-end customer journeys including onboarding, activation, retention, and reactivation

Execute targeted campaigns to improve key metrics like repeat rate, LTV, and engagement

Drive personalization strategies using customer insights and real-time triggers

Continuously optimize conversion funnels through automation, A/B testing, and journey refinement

Monitor campaign performance and build dashboards to track retention and automation effectiveness

Collaborate with product, growth, and data teams to improve customer experience and campaign performance

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field

2–5 years of experience in retention marketing, lifecycle marketing, or marketing automation

Hands-on experience with CRM and automation tools (e.g., Clevertap, MoEngage, HubSpot, WebEngage, etc.)

Strong understanding of customer segmentation and lifecycle journey design

Data-driven mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Experience in campaign execution across multiple communication channels

Ability to manage multiple campaigns and workflows simultaneously

Experience with A/B testing and conversion rate optimization (CRO)

Basic knowledge of SQL, Excel, or data analytics tools

Familiarity with dashboarding tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Google Data Studio)

Experience in D2C, e-commerce, or app-based businesses
