Job Summary
We are looking for a reliable and energetic Delivery Executive to join our FMCG retail distribution team. You will be responsible for ensuring the timely and safe delivery of products (including consumer goods and lighting fixtures) from our warehouse to retail outlets and end customers. As the face of our company during delivery, a polite attitude and high level of professional integrity are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Order Fulfillment: Load, transport, and deliver items to retailers and customers in a safe, timely manner.
- Route Planning: Review delivery orders and plan the most efficient routes to meet strict deadlines.
- Document Management: Obtain signatures for delivery and collect payments (Cash/Digital) where necessary; ensure all invoices are returned to the accounts department.
- Inventory Care: Handle products with care, particularly fragile items like brass lighting fixtures or sensitive electronic components.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct basic maintenance checks on the delivery vehicle (e.g., fuel, tire pressure) and report any issues immediately.
- Customer Service: Address customer queries professionally at the point of delivery and report any feedback to the supervisor.
Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Minimum 10th or 12th pass (candidates like Pradeep Prakash Nishad or Nawed Anwar with strong local navigation skills are encouraged to apply).
- Documentation: Must possess a valid Driving License (Two-wheeler or Light Motor Vehicle) and a clean driving record.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift, push, and pull crates or boxes weighing up to 20–25 kg.
- Tech Savvy: Ability to use basic smartphone apps for navigation and delivery tracking (proficiency in Google Maps and WhatsApp).
- Personal Attributes: Punctuality, honesty, and a strong sense of responsibility.
