Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Testing Engineer with 1–2 years of experience in the CT/PT transformer industry. The candidate will be responsible for conducting routine, type, and special tests on current transformers and potential transformers as per relevant IS/IEC standards, ensuring product quality and compliance with customer specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine testing of CTs and PTs according to IS/IEC standards.
- Conduct electrical tests such as ratio, polarity, burden, insulation resistance (IR), winding resistance, high-voltage (HV), power frequency, induced voltage, partial discharge (if applicable), and accuracy tests.
- Prepare and maintain test reports, calibration records, and quality documentation.
- Analyze test results and identify deviations from specifications.
- Coordinate with production and quality teams to resolve testing-related issues.
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of testing equipment and instruments.
- Follow quality, safety, and environmental procedures during testing activities.
- Support type testing, customer inspections, and third-party audits when required.
- Assist in troubleshooting product failures and implementing corrective actions.
- Maintain compliance with ISO quality management systems and company procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 1–2 years of experience in testing CT/PT transformers or power equipment.
- Knowledge of IS/IEC standards related to instrument transformers.
- Familiarity with testing instruments such as CT/PT analyzers, HV test sets, insulation resistance testers, winding resistance meters, and transformer testing equipment.
- Ability to read electrical drawings and technical specifications.
- Basic knowledge of quality control and documentation.

Preferred Skills

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
