We are looking for a Data Science Intern who is passionate about data, analytics, machine learning, and solving real-world problems.
Role Overview
As a Data Science Intern, you will work closely with our team on real-world data projects and gain hands-on experience in data analysis, data visualization, machine learning, and predictive modeling.
This opportunity is ideal for students, fresh graduates, and aspiring Data Scientists looking to build practical experience and a strong project portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, preprocess, and analyze datasets.
- Perform Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA) to identify trends and patterns.
- Create meaningful data visualizations and reports.
- Assist in developing and evaluating machine learning models.
- Apply statistical and analytical techniques to solve business problems.
- Work with Python libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib, and Scikit-learn.
- Assist in developing data-driven solutions for real-world projects.
- Collaborate with team members on Data Science and AI/ML projects.
- Document methodologies, findings, and project outcomes.
- Present data-driven insights to the team.
Requirements
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of Python.
- Knowledge of Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib/Seaborn.
- Basic understanding of statistics and data analysis.
- Understanding of Machine Learning concepts.
- Knowledge of SQL is an advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to learn and work on real-world projects.
Good to Have
- Knowledge of Scikit-learn.
- Experience with Power BI or Tableau.
- Knowledge of SQL and databases.
- Familiarity with Git/GitHub.
- Academic or personal Data Science/ML projects.
- Kaggle or other data competition experience.
