- Staff management: Recruit, train, and motivate staff, and ensure they work well together
- Customer service: Greet customers, answer questions, and resolve complaints
- Health and safety: Ensure the restaurant meets health and safety regulations, including food safety
- Inventory management: Check stock levels, order supplies, and automate inventory management
- Compliance: Comply with licensing laws and other legal requirements
- Problem solving: Provide solutions to issues, such as profit decline, employee conflicts, and loss of business
- Sales: Increase sales year on year
