- Staff Scheduling and Performance Management. Manage staff rosters, ensuring adequate coverage for all shifts, including night patrols.
- Leadership in Incident Response. Act as the point of escalation during security and safety incidents,
2. Property Patrols, Safety Inspections, and Incident Management.
- Regular Patrol Supervision. Direct and oversee routine property patrols, focusing on critical areas such as entry/exit points, guest room corridors, parking areas, and high-risk zones.
- Inspection and Compliance. Conduct daily and weekly safety inspections of the property,
- Incident Management. Ensure prompt response to any security or safety incidents, such as fire alarms, medical emergencies, or unauthorized access.
3. Access Control & Surveillance Management.
- Access Point Management. Oversee all access control points, ensuring the team diligently monitors and restricts unauthorized access to sensitive areas
- Surveillance Systems Oversight.
- Card Access Systems. Supervise the proper management of electronic access systems, ensuring accurate logging and review of access logs for sensitive or restricted areas.
4. Fire & Life Safety Management.
- Fire Safety Protocols. Oversee the maintenance and readiness of fire detection systems, firefighting equipment, and evacuation routes.
- Life Safety Preparedness. Manage life safety programs, including first aid, medical response, and emergency evacuation plans.
- Fire Drills and Emergency Simulations.
5. Risk Assessments, Audits, and Compliance.
- Comprehensive Risk Management. Conduct comprehensive security and safety risk assessments on the property, identifying vulnerabilities in physical security, access control, and fire/life safety systems.
- Internal Audits and Compliance. Conduct internal audits of security and safety operations, ensuring compliance with IHCL’s safety standards, local regulatory requirements, and global best practices.
- Incident Reporting and Documentation. Ensure that all security incidents, safety breaches, and fire hazards are documented accurately.
6. Safety & Security Awareness and Training.
- Staff Training Programs. Lead the development and delivery of safety and security training programs for the property staff.
- Security Awareness Campaigns. Develop security awareness programs to promote a proactive safety and security culture within the property.
- Contractor and Vendor Safety Training. Ensure that all third-party contractors, vendors, and external service providers are fully briefed on property security and safety procedures
7. Budget & Resource Management for Security & Safety Operations.
- Budget Oversight. Assist the S&S Manager in preparing and managing the budget for security and safety operations, ensuring all expenditures are aligned with property and company standards.
- Resource Allocation. Manage the deployment of security resources, based on property needs, special events, and high-risk periods.
- Procurement of Equipment. Oversee the procurement of security and fire safety equipment, ensuring that all systems and tools are up-to-date, operational, and meet the regulatory requirements.
8. Crisis Management & Business Continuity.
- Emergency Response Leadership. Take an active leadership role during crises, such as fire outbreaks, evacuations, or large-scale incidents.
- Business Continuity Planning.
9. Health, Occupational Safety & Regulatory Compliance.
