About the Project
The Transport Arogyam Kendra is a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative dedicated to improving the health and well-being of truck drivers. The project provides free general medical consultations, physiotherapy services, and essential medicines to truckers, aiming to enhance access to quality healthcare for this underserved community.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct medical consultations and assess patients presenting with general health concerns and musculoskeletal complaints.
- Counsel truck drivers on their medical conditions, treatment plans, lifestyle modifications, and preventive healthcare practices.
- Prescribe appropriate medications and coordinate with the physiotherapy team for integrated patient care.
- Maintain accurate patient records through digital data entry as well as physical registers.
- Ensure timely and accurate documentation of consultations, prescriptions, and follow-up visits.
- Manage and maintain the stock of medicines, including inventory monitoring, record-keeping, and reporting stock requirements.
- Supervise the dispensing of medicines in accordance with prescribed treatment plans.
- Participate in weekly medical outreach camps and provide healthcare services at field locations as required.
- Support health awareness activities and community outreach initiatives for truck drivers.
- Assist the project team in organizing and executing health camps, awareness programs, and other clinic-related activities.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical medical practices and organizational protocols.
- Coordinate with project staff to ensure efficient day-to-day functioning of the clinic.
Qualifications
- MBBS from a recognized institution.
- Valid registration with the National Medical Commission (NMC) or State Medical Council.
- Prior experience in primary healthcare, community health, or occupational health is preferred.
- Freshers with a strong commitment to community service may also apply.

Contractual (6 Months)
Pay: ₹55,000.00 - ₹65,000.00 per month
