Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) – All Subjects
Job Summary
We are looking for a qualified, dedicated, and enthusiastic TGT Teacher to teach students at the secondary school level. The teacher will be responsible for delivering effective lessons, maintaining classroom discipline, assessing student performance, and supporting the overall academic and personal development of students.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons according to the school curriculum.
- Teach assigned subjects effectively using appropriate teaching methods.
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, and learning materials.
- Assess and evaluate students through tests, examinations, classwork, and assignments.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, academic performance, and progress.
- Manage classroom discipline and create a positive learning environment.
- Identify students who need additional academic support and provide appropriate guidance.
- Encourage students to participate in academic, cultural, sports, and co-curricular activities.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding students’ academic progress and behaviour.
- Participate in staff meetings, training programs, school events, and other assigned duties.
- Follow school policies, curriculum guidelines, and academic standards.
- Support students in developing communication, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in the relevant subject or related field.
- B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification.
- CTET/STET qualification preferred, where applicable.
- Good knowledge of the school curriculum and teaching methodologies.
- Previous teaching experience is preferred.
