Core Responsibilities
- Mine Planning & Design: Create and update 2D/3D mine layouts and extraction plans based on geological data and feasibility studies.
- Process Optimization: Develop and manage commercial-scale methods to extract metals from ores, focusing on cost reduction and maximizing yield.
- Safety & Compliance: Establish safety protocols (e.g., toxic gas detection, ventilation, hazard reviews) to meet strict mining and environmental regulations.
- Equipment & Vendor Management: Select material handling equipment, prepare technical bid evaluations, and coordinate with vendors.
- Budgeting & Project Management: Draft detailed project reports, oversee construction contracts, and track material quantities.
