Summary (Experience: Entry Level (0–2 years)
The Sales Coordinator plays a key support role within the B2B sales team, ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the sales process. This entry-level position is ideal for a detail-oriented, organized professional who enjoys working cross-functionally to support account executives, manage client communications, maintain accurate sales records, and help drive the efficient execution of orders and contracts. The role offers strong exposure to the full B2B sales cycle and a clear path for growth into an Account Executive or Sales Operations role.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Support: Assist the sales team with scheduling client meetings, calls, and presentations, and prepare supporting materials such as proposals and pitch decks.
- Order & Contract Processing: Prepare, process, and track sales quotes, purchase orders, and contracts, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
- CRM Management: Maintain and update customer and prospect records in the CRM ODOO, including leads, opportunities, and pipeline status.
- Client Communication: Serve as a first point of contact for client inquiries, providing timely, professional responses and escalating issues as needed.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Liaise with marketing, finance, logistics, and customer service teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment and client onboarding.
- Reporting & Analytics: Compile sales reports, forecasts, and performance dashboards to support management decision-making.
- Invoicing & Payment Follow-Up: Coordinate with finance to track outstanding invoices and follow up on payment status with clients.
- Meeting & Event Coordination: Help organize internal sales meetings, training sessions, and client-facing events or trade shows.
- Documentation: Maintain organized, up-to-date records of contracts, client files, and sales documentation in line with company policy.
- Client Onboarding Support: Assist in onboarding new B2B accounts, ensuring a smooth handoff from sales to account management.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Language requirement: English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 0–2 years of experience in sales support, sales coordination, customer service, or a related administrative role; internships count.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Familiarity with CRM platforms ODOO is a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a professional, client-facing manner.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- High attention to detail and accuracy, particularly with data entry and documentation.
- A collaborative, team-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn.
- Basic understanding of B2B sales cycles and processes is an advantage but not required.
