Job Description
A Wellness Coach helps individuals improve their overall well-being by guiding them in areas such as physical health, nutrition, stress management, and lifestyle habits. They work closely with clients to set realistic goals, build healthy routines, and maintain long-term behavioral changes.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess clients’ current health, lifestyle, and wellness goals
- Develop personalized wellness plans (fitness, nutrition, stress management)
- Provide one-on-one coaching sessions and ongoing support
- Track client progress and adjust plans as needed
- Educate clients on healthy habits, mindfulness, and self-care practices
- Motivate and encourage clients to stay consistent and accountable
- Collaborate with other professionals (nutritionists, therapists, trainers) if required
- Maintain records of client sessions and progress
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of fitness, nutrition, and mental wellness principles
- Ability to motivate and inspire clients
- Goal-setting and problem-solving skills
- Certification in wellness coaching, fitness training, or related field (preferred)
- Basic understanding of behavior change techniques
