Pathway Institute is seeking a passionate and skilled English Trainer to join our growing team. You will be responsible for designing and delivering high-quality Communicative English language sessions — covering spoken English, business communication, grammar, and exam preparation — to learners from diverse academic and professional backgrounds.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct spoken English and communication skills classes
- Design lesson plans aligned with learner goals
- Deliver grammar, vocabulary, and writing workshops
- Prepare students for IELTS / TOEFL / PTE / Duolingo exams
- Provide constructive feedback and progress reports
- Coordinate with academic staff on curriculum updates
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in English, Linguistics, or Education
- CELTA / TESOL / TEFL certification is an added advantage
- Minimum 1 year of English training or teaching experience
- Excellent spoken and written English communication skills
- Strong classroom management and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle learners from diverse academic backgrounds
Monitoring & Administration
- Track student progress and maintain attendance, performance records, and progress reports.
- Provide personalised feedback and corrective guidance.
- Deliver one-to-one and group training as required.
- Assist in preparing and organising study materials, practice tests, and learning resources.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in corporate English or soft skills training
- Familiarity with online teaching tools and LMS platforms
- Knowledge of phonetics and accent training techniques
- Candidate should be from Kollam.
Additional Information
Those who are apply should be capable of training different professions (Doctor, Lawyers, Teachers etc). Experience in IELTS, PTE, or TOFEL training is added advantage but not mandatory. Comprehensive training and support will be provided to selected candidates for IELTS, PTE, and TOFEL instruction.
