Job Description
We are looking for a skilled and technically strong Maintenance Engineer to manage maintenance and operational support of industrial machinery. The candidate will be responsible for machine maintenance, troubleshooting, and handling technical documentation including quotations, purchase orders, and professional communication with clients and vendors.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of industrial machines.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults in machinery.
- Ensure proper machine installation, alignment, and commissioning support.
- Prepare and manage technical quotations for machine parts and services.
- Handle purchase orders, vendor coordination, and procurement support.
- Draft and send technical emails and communicate with clients and suppliers.
- Maintain service reports, maintenance records, and documentation.
- Ensure machine performance, safety, and operational efficiency.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of industrial machinery maintenance.
- Experience in machine troubleshooting and repair.
- Ability to prepare technical quotations and purchase orders.
- Good knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel, and email communication.
- Understanding of mechanical systems, motors, pumps, gearboxes, etc.
Qualifications
- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
- 2–5 years of experience in industrial machine maintenance preferred.
Preferred Candidate
- Good technical and communication skills.
- Ability to coordinate with vendors and clients.
- Experience in factory or engineering industry.
Salary
₹15,000 – ₹30,000 per month (based on experience)
