Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Senior Academic Counsellor to guide students, handle admissions, and support the counselling team. The candidate should have strong communication, counselling, sales, and team coordination skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Guide students and parents in selecting suitable courses and career paths.
- Handle student enquiries through calls, WhatsApp, email, and direct meetings.
- Explain course details, fees, career opportunities, and admission procedures.
- Follow up with prospective students and convert enquiries into admissions.
- Maintain and update student enquiry and admission records.
- Handle complex student and parent queries professionally.
- Coordinate with academic, marketing, and management teams.
- Monitor counselling and admission performance.
- Achieve individual and team admission targets.
- Prepare regular reports on enquiries, follow-ups, and admissions.
- Maintain strong relationships with students and parents.
Requirements
- 2–4 years of experience in academic counselling, admissions, education sales, or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong counselling, convincing, and negotiation skills.
- Good leadership and team coordination abilities.
- Target-oriented and self-motivated.
- Strong follow-up and customer-handling skills.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office/Google Workspace.
- Immediate joiners preferred.
