Job Summary
The Senior Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales growth, achieving assigned business targets, expanding market presence, and managing distributors and key accounts within the assigned territory. The role involves leading sales initiatives, developing strong customer relationships, mentoring the sales team, and ensuring effective execution of company strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to increase market share.
- Appoint, manage, and support distributors within the assigned territory.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with doctors, hospitals, pharmacies, dealers, and institutional customers.
- Identify new business opportunities and expand the customer base.
- Lead, guide, and motivate Territory Sales Executives and Sales Officers to achieve business objectives.
- Conduct regular field visits, joint working, and market analysis.
- Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and market trends and submit timely reports.
- Ensure availability and visibility of company products in the market.
- Organize product presentations, promotional campaigns, CMEs, and customer engagement activities.
- Review sales performance and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
- Coordinate with Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, and Customer Service teams for smooth business operations.
- Ensure timely collection of outstanding payments from customers and distributors.
- Maintain discipline, compliance, and adherence to company policies and ethical business practices.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy, Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- MBA (Marketing) will be an added advantage.
Experience
- 5–8 years of experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare sales.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a managerial sales role.
- Experience in team handling and distributor management is preferred.
Required Skills

- Sound knowledge of pharmaceutical sales and market dynamics.
