Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Civil/Structural Engineer to handle the planning, design, execution, and supervision of RCC Drain Works and allied civil infrastructure projects. The role involves ensuring structural stability, proper drainage flow, construction quality, and compliance with technical standards, safety norms, and project specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and verify RCC drain designs, drawings, and execution plans.
- Supervise construction of RCC drains, culverts, chambers, and related civil works.
- Check reinforcement detailing, shuttering, concrete quality, and alignment accuracy.
- Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, contractors, and survey teams.
- Conduct site inspections, identify execution issues, and recommend corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with IS Codes, drainage standards, QA/QC procedures, and safety norms.
- Review BBS, shop drawings, levels, gradients, and concrete specifications.
- Monitor excavation, PCC, RCC casting, curing, and backfilling activities.
- Assist in preparing BOQs, DPRs, technical reports, and project documentation.
- Ensure timely project execution while maintaining quality and cost control.
Requirements
- BE/B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
- 5–7 years experience in RCC drain works, sewer/storm water projects, or infrastructure works.
- 10+ years overall experience in civil engineering projects.
- Strong knowledge of RCC structures, drainage systems, foundations, and site execution practices.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, STAAD Pro, and project planning/estimation tools.
- Good understanding of IS Codes, QA/QC procedures, and construction safety standards.
