Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Operations Manager to oversee and manage the complete day-to-day operations of the diagnostic laboratory and healthcare services. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth functioning of laboratory operations, staff management, quality compliance, patient satisfaction, business growth, and implementation of NABL and government regulations.
The Operations Manager will act as a bridge between management, laboratory staff, collection centers, doctors, patients, and vendors while ensuring operational excellence across all departments.
Key Responsibility
1. Operations Management
- Oversee complete laboratory and healthcare operations.
- Ensure smooth daily functioning of all departments.
- Monitor sample collection, processing, reporting, and delivery timelines.
- Ensure all services are delivered efficiently and within TAT (Turnaround Time).
- Identify operational gaps and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and implement SOPs for all operational activities.
2. Staff Management
- Recruit, train, and supervise laboratory and administrative staff.
- Maintain employee attendance, leave records, and duty rosters.
- Monitor staff productivity and performance.
- Conduct regular staff meetings and performance reviews.
- Resolve staff-related issues and conflicts.
- Ensure workplace discipline and professional conduct.
3. Quality & Compliance Management
- Ensure compliance with NABL guidelines and quality standards.
- Monitor implementation of quality control procedures.
- Handle internal and external audits.
- Maintain all documentation required for NABL accreditation.
- Ensure compliance with government regulations and healthcare laws.
- Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
4. Patient & Customer Management
- Handle patient complaints and escalations.
- Ensure high levels of patient satisfaction.
- Monitor front office and customer support activities.
- Improve patient experience through service excellence.
- Maintain strong relationships with doctors, hospitals, and corporate clients.
5. Administrative Management
- Manage all administrative activities of the laboratory.
- Supervise front office and back-office operations.
- Ensure proper record maintenance and documentation.
- Manage vendor relationships and procurement activities.
- Oversee inventory and stock management.
6. Financial & Business Operations
- Monitor operational expenses and cost control.
- Ensure optimal utilization of resources.
- Track revenue, productivity, and profitability indicators.
- Support business development and growth initiatives.
- Achieve monthly and annual operational targets.
7. Data & MIS Management
- Maintain operational records and reports.
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports.
- Analyze operational performance data.
- Present performance reports to management.
- Ensure data accuracy and confidentiality.
8. Marketing & Business Growth Support
- Coordinate with marketing teams.
- Monitor referral doctor engagement activities.
- Support health camps, awareness programs, and promotional activities.
- Drive collection center and franchise performance.
- Assist in achieving organizational growth targets.
9. Strategic Planning & Decision Making
- Participate in strategic planning and policy implementation.
- Make operational decisions to improve efficiency.
- Identify growth opportunities and expansion plans.
- Develop systems for continuous improvement.
10. Home Healthcare Operations
- Manage Home Sample Collection services.
- Coordinate home visits for nurses, technicians, ECG, X-Ray, and healthcare services.
- Ensure timely service delivery and quality standards.
Diagnostic Laboratories, Pathology Labs, Hospitals, Healthcare Chains, Medical Centers, Healthcare Startups.
- Minimum years 8-9 of experience in Diagnostic Laboratory, Hospital, or Healthcare Operations.
Pay: From ₹40,000.00 per month
