To Plan, monitor support the NDT Activity of SPG to BP M/c 1 to 4 & Vis # 1, PC 2–SFD,PC3,PC4, MCHP, so as to ensure optimum production and delivery within targeted cost and quality parameter and also carryout development projects to uplift total working of the section with respect to quality, cost, system & productivity through improving predictability & PMT of equipment.

Production Planning & Control:
Plan NDT activities in plant & find abnormalities
1. Plan NDT activity as per production target and control
2. Allocation of resources as per priority jobs.
3. Convey abnormality of Equipment / Machine to department for corrective action.

Production Quality:
To ensure the upkeep of equipment to ensure uninterrupted production/operations.
1. Health check of equipment through Vibration & Bearing condition monitoring, Flaw detector (UT testing), dynamic balancing, Dye penetration test, flow measurement, Steam trap / valve monitoring etc.

To initiate cost reduction plan/measures.
1. Analyze and implement cost reduction and quality improvement measures through predicative maint. & reduces break down / waste generation - Plan & thus ensure timely delivery of VSF
