We are looking for a knowledgeable and passionate Chess Coach to train and mentor students of different age groups through structured and engaging chess training sessions.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct chess coaching classes for beginners and intermediate/advanced students
- Teach chess fundamentals, openings, middle game strategies, endgames, tactics, and positional play
- Analyze games and help students improve their performance and decision-making skills
- Prepare students for tournaments, competitions, and rating events
- Maintain discipline and encourage a positive learning environment
- Track student progress and provide regular feedback to parents and management when required
- Coordinate with management regarding class schedules and student activities
- Promote critical thinking, concentration, and sportsmanship among students
- Represent the company professionally during classes, events, and competitions
Requirements
- Minimum FIDE Rating of 1600+
- Previous chess coaching or teaching experience preferred
- Strong communication and mentoring skills
- Ability to teach children and students of different skill levels
- Passion for chess education and student development
- Punctual, disciplined, and professional attitude
Preferred Qualifications
- Tournament playing experience
- Experience in online coaching platforms such as Zoom or Chess.com
- FIDE certification or achievements are an added advantage
