Job Description – Retail Operations Senior Executive
Position: Senior Executive – Retail Operations
Department: Retail Operations/Sales
Reporting To: Retail Operations Manager / Head – Retail
Location: Dadar
Job Purpose
To drive sales performance, ensure efficient retail operations, optimize inventory
management, maintain visual merchandising standards, and support staff productivity
across retail stores, shop-in-shops, and regional format retailers. The role is responsible for
maximizing store profitability, operational compliance, and customer satisfaction while
ensuring alignment with company objectives.
Key Responsibilities
1. Store Performance & Sales Management
Monitor and drive sales performance across all retail stores, shop-in-shops, and
regional format retailers.
Ensure achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Analyze sales trends, customer footfall, and conversion rates to identify growth
opportunities.
Coordinate with store teams to improve Average Transaction Value (ATV) and
customer engagement.
Prepare and review store-wise sales performance reports.
2. Inventory Management
Monitor inventory levels to ensure optimum stock availability across locations.
Minimize stockouts and overstock situations through effective inventory planning.
Conduct periodic stock audits and reconciliation.
Monitor inventory turnover ratio and stock aging reports.
Implement inventory control measures to reduce shrinkage and stock losses.
Coordinate with warehouse and merchandising teams for stock replenishment.
3. Visual Merchandising & Store Layout
Ensure implementation of approved visual merchandising standards across all stores.
Monitor planogram compliance and product placement.
Conduct regular VM audits and recommend improvements.
Coordinate seasonal displays, promotions, and product launches.
Optimize store layouts to improve customer flow and shopping experience.
4. Staff Management & Training
Support recruitment, onboarding, and deployment of retail staff.
Monitor staff productivity and performance.
Coordinate and facilitate training programs on product knowledge, sales techniques,
SOPs, and customer service.
Evaluate training effectiveness and recommend development initiatives.
Ensure adherence to attendance, grooming, and discipline standards.
5. Operational Efficiency & Compliance
Ensure smooth day-to-day store operations across all retail formats.
Monitor compliance with company SOPs, policies, and audit requirements.
Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency and reduce
operating costs.
Monitor store maintenance, operational readiness, and downtime.
Ensure timely submission of operational MIS reports and store performance
dashboards.
Qualification & Experience
Graduate/Post Graduate in Retail Management, Business Administration,
Commerce, or related field.
3–6 years of experience in Retail Operations, preferably in Apparel, Fashion,
Lifestyle, or FMCG Retail.
Experience in handling multiple stores or retail formats is preferred.
Skills Required

Proficiency in MS Excel and retail ERP/POS systems.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Pay: Up to ₹750,000.00 per year
