A Solar Sales Executive is responsible for generating leads, explaining solar solutions to customers, closing sales, and coordinating installation activities.
Key Roles & Responsibilities1. Lead Generation
- Identify potential residential, commercial, and industrial customers.
- Conduct field visits, door-to-door marketing, and local campaigns.
- Generate leads through referrals, social media, and networking.
2. Customer Consultation
- Understand customer electricity consumption and requirements.
- Explain benefits of solar systems, including cost savings and government subsidies.
- Provide information about net metering and financing options.
3. Site Assessment Coordination
- Arrange preliminary site surveys.
- Collect electricity bills, roof details, and customer documents.
- Coordinate with technical teams for feasibility assessment.
4. Sales & Proposal Preparation
- Prepare quotations and proposals.
- Present system capacity, expected generation, and return on investment (ROI).
- Negotiate pricing and close deals.
5. Documentation Support
- Assist customers with subsidy applications.
- Help with loan applications (such as through JanSamarth or bank financing).
- Collect KYC and other required documents.
6. Installation Coordination
- Coordinate between customer and installation team.
- Ensure timely project execution.
- Update customers on installation progress.
7. After-Sales Support
- Handle customer queries and complaints.
- Ensure customer satisfaction.
- Generate referrals and repeat business.
Important Skills
- Communication and negotiation skills
- Knowledge of solar PV systems (On-grid, Off-grid, Hybrid)
- Basic understanding of electricity bills and net metering
- CRM and lead management
- Knowledge of government solar subsidy schemes
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
