Job Description
Laxair Med Construction is looking for an experienced Interior Designer to join our team and work on hospital and healthcare projects. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of healthcare interiors, space planning, materials, drawings, and site execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop hospital interiors including patient rooms, OPD, ICU, OT, reception, waiting areas, laboratories, corridors, offices, and other healthcare spaces.
- Prepare concept designs, layouts, working drawings, furniture layouts, and detailed interior drawings.
- Develop 2D/3D designs, presentations, material selections, and mood boards.
- Coordinate with architects, civil engineers, MEP consultants, vendors, and project teams.
- Visit project sites and supervise interior execution to ensure design quality and specifications are followed.
- Select appropriate finishes, furniture, lighting, flooring, wall treatments, ceilings, and healthcare-grade materials.
- Coordinate with clients, doctors, hospital management, and contractors.
- Review shop drawings and resolve design/execution issues at site.
- Ensure projects are completed within the required quality, timeline, and budget.
- Be willing to travel across India for project requirements.
Required Skills
- 4–6 years of relevant experience in interior design, preferably hospital/healthcare projects.
- Strong knowledge of AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D software, and rendering/presentation tools.
- Good understanding of interior materials, furniture, lighting, false ceiling, flooring, and finishes.
- Strong design sense and attention to detail.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently.
- Hospital interior experience will be highly preferred.
- Candidate should be ready to travel Pan India.
