Job Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior DevOps Engineer with deep expertise in Azure cloud infrastructure, automation, and DevOps practices. The ideal candidate will not only execute but also lead architecture decisions, drive platform strategy, and mentor teams. This role demands strong ownership, advanced troubleshooting skills, and the ability to build scalable, secure, and resilient cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Azure Infrastructure Architecture & Governance:

Architect, design, and implement scalable, secure, and cost-optimized Azure solutions.

Define cloud governance, security policies, and best practices (RBAC, networking, compliance).

Lead initiatives for high availability, disaster recovery, and multi-region deployments.
-
Optimize cost, performance, and reliability across environments.
DevOps Strategy & CI/CD Excellence:

Design and standardize enterprise-grade CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
-
Implement advanced deployment strategies (blue-green, canary, rolling deployments).
-
Drive DevOps maturity, standardization, and process improvements across teams.
Automation & Scripting Leadership:
-
Develop complex automation frameworks using Python and Shell scripting.
-
Lead initiatives for self-healing systems, automated remediation, and operational efficiency.
Infrastructure as Code (Terraform - Advanced):
-
Architect modular, reusable Terraform frameworks.
-
Enforce IaC standards, security controls, and governance policies.
-
Manage large-scale infrastructure lifecycle and environment consistency.
Configuration Management (Ansible - Advanced):
-
Design scalable Ansible automation strategies and reusable roles/playbooks.

Lead configuration drift management and compliance automation.
Containerization & Platform Engineering:

Design and manage Kubernetes clusters (AKS) at scale.

Implement container orchestration best practices, security, and scaling strategies.

Support microservices architecture and container platform optimization.
Observability, Reliability & Security:
-
Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions (Azure Monitor, Prometheus, Grafana, Dynatrace).

Drive SRE practices (SLIs, SLOs, error budgets).
-
Ensure infrastructure security, vulnerability management, and compliance adherence.
Leadership & Collaboration:

Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical reviews.
-
Collaborate with architects, developers, and stakeholders for solution alignment.

Drive cross-team initiatives and DevOps adoption culture.
Skills:

Strong expertise in Azure services (compute, networking, storage, security).

Deep understanding of CI/CD, DevOps, and platform engineering practices.

Experience with scalable, resilient system design.
-
Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
-
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and mentoring abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:

Azure certifications (Azure Solutions Architect Expert, DevOps Engineer Expert).

Experience with multi-cloud environments (AWS/GCP).

Familiarity with security frameworks and compliance standards.

Exposure to GitOps, platform engineering, or developer self-service platforms.
(External) English Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:

8+ years of experience in DevOps and Azure infrastructure.

Proven experience in designing large-scale cloud architectures.

Strong expertise in GitHub Actions, Terraform, Ansible, and scripting.

Advanced proficiency in Python and Shell scripting.

Hands-on experience managing Kubernetes (AKS) and Docker in production
