The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in Linux and Windows system programming, networking, high availability, and storage technologies within a product-based environment. Key Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and maintain high-performance system-level software. • Develop cross-platform applications for Linux and Windows. • Build and optimize replication and failover mechanisms. • Develop networking and storage components. • Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues. • Perform code reviews, debugging, performance tuning, and optimization. • Develop Proof of Concepts (POCs) and implement new product features. • Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams. Required Skills: • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science or related field. • 15+ years of professional software development experience. • 10+ years of hands-on C/C++ development. • Strong Linux & Windows system programming experience. • Deep understanding of OS Internals. • Strong Object-Oriented Programming concepts. • Excellent knowledge of Algorithms, Data Structures, and Design Patterns. • Experience with TCP/IP Socket Programming. • Strong Multithreading and Concurrent Programming experience. • Experience with POSIX APIs and Win32 APIs. • Strong debugging skills using GDB, LLDB or Windows Debugger. • Experience with MSSQL, MySQL, Oracle or SQLite. Preferred Skills: • Kernel Driver Development. • Filesystem or Block-Level Replication. • Storage, Backup or Disaster Recovery products. • Distributed Systems. • Virtualization Platforms. • Performance Optimization. • Large Cross-Platform C++ Codebases.
