We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Biomedical Engineer Trainee to join our technical team. The trainee will assist in the installation, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and servicing of biomedical equipment under the guidance of senior engineers. This role provides an excellent opportunity for fresh graduates or entry-level professionals to gain hands-on experience in hospital equipment management and technical support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the installation, commissioning, and testing of biomedical equipment.
- Support preventive maintenance and routine servicing of medical equipment as per schedule.
- Assist senior engineers in diagnosing and troubleshooting equipment faults.
- Help maintain accurate records of service reports, maintenance logs, and equipment history.
- Update equipment inventory and ensure accurate documentation of newly installed devices.
- Coordinate with internal teams and OEMs for service support and warranty-related activities.
- Learn and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines.
- Assist in monitoring spare parts usage and report inventory requirements.
- Provide basic technical assistance to hospital staff regarding equipment operation.
- Ensure timely completion of assigned service activities and submit daily work reports.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Biomedical Engineering.
- Freshers or candidates with up to 1 year of experience are encouraged to apply.
- Internship or project experience in biomedical equipment maintenance will be an added advantage.
Required Skills:
- Basic knowledge of biomedical equipment and medical devices.
- Understanding of preventive maintenance and troubleshooting concepts.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to travel to customer locations and hospitals when required.
- Ability to learn quickly and work effectively in a team environment.
- Basic computer knowledge, including MS Office applications.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Positive attitude, adaptability, and eagerness to build a career in biomedical engineering.
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹13,000.00 per month
