Admission Counsellor
Job Summary
The Admission Counsellor is the first point of contact for prospective parents and plays a key role in creating a positive impression of the school. The counsellor is responsible for guiding families through the admission process, providing information about the school's curriculum and facilities, conducting campus tours, and ensuring a smooth enrollment experience while meeting admission goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and counsel prospective parents regarding the school's programs, admission criteria, curriculum, and fee structure.
- Handle admission inquiries through phone calls, emails, WhatsApp, social media, and walk-in visits.
- Conduct school tours and explain the school's teaching philosophy, learning environment, and facilities.
- Guide parents through the admission process, including application submission, document verification, and enrollment formalities.
- Follow up regularly with prospective parents to encourage admissions.
- Maintain accurate records of inquiries, applications, and admissions using the school's CRM or student management system.
- Coordinate with the Principal, teachers, and administrative staff to ensure a seamless admission experience.
- Organize and support admission events, orientation programs, open houses, and parent information sessions.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly admission reports.
- Ensure excellent customer service and maintain positive relationships with parents throughout the admission journey.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline (Education, Business Administration, or related fields preferred).
- 1–3 years of experience in school admissions, counseling, customer relations, or educational sales.
- Experience in a preschool or kindergarten setting is an advantage.

Reporting To
Principal / Head of School / School Administrator
Working Hours
As per school timings, with flexibility to support weekend admission events, parent meetings, or open house programs when required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹32,000.00 per month
