Landchester Engineers Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a Geotechnical Site Engineer to join our team. Freshers and candidates with 0–1 year of experience are welcome to apply.
Qualification
- B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering or M.E./M.Tech in Geotechnical Engineering
- Freshers can apply.
- Candidates with 0–1 year of experience in geotechnical/site activities will be preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in execution of Pile Load Tests, PIT, Plate Load Tests and other geotechnical testing activities.
- Assist in soil investigation and field testing.
- Handle and monitor testing instruments such as hydraulic jacks, pressure gauges and dial gauges.
- Record field observations, test readings and site data accurately.
- Prepare daily site reports, test records and basic technical documentation.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors and site teams during testing.
- Ensure testing is carried out as per applicable specifications and approved procedures.
- Assist senior engineers in analysis and preparation of test reports.
- Maintain testing equipment and ensure proper handling at site.
- Follow site safety requirements and company procedures.
- Travel to project sites across Mumbai, Navi Mumbai and other locations as required.
Skills Required
- Basic knowledge of Soil Mechanics and Foundation Engineering.
- Interest in Geotechnical Engineering and field testing.
- Good communication and reporting skills.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.
- Willingness to work at construction sites and travel for projects.
- Good learning attitude and ability to work with a technical team.
