The Electrician Cum Fitter is responsible for performing electrical and mechanical maintenance work, installation, troubleshooting, and repair of machines, equipment, and factory utilities to ensure smooth and safe operations.
Electrical Work
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, panels, and control circuits.
- Diagnose and fix electrical faults in machines and equipment.
- Ensure proper functioning of motors, starters, switches, and control panels.
- Read and interpret electrical diagrams and technical drawings.
- Perform preventive maintenance of electrical systems.
Fitter (Mechanical) Work
- Assemble, install, and maintain mechanical equipment and machinery.
- Perform alignment, fitting, and adjustment of machine parts.
- Repair mechanical breakdowns in production machinery.
- Carry out welding, drilling, cutting, and fabrication work when required.
- Support machine setup and installation activities.
Maintenance & Safety
- Perform routine preventive and breakdown maintenance.
- Ensure all machines are operating safely and efficiently.
- Follow safety procedures and use PPE during work.
- Report major faults and suggest improvements to reduce breakdowns.
Coordination
- Coordinate with production and maintenance teams for smooth operations.
- Assist senior engineers and supervisors in technical tasks.
- Maintain proper communication regarding machine status and repairs.
Qualifications
- ITI / Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical / Fitter Trade.
- Certified electrician/fitter training preferred.
Experience
- 1–2 years of experience in industrial maintenance or manufacturing setup.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.
- Ability to read technical drawings and wiring diagrams.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Basic welding and fabrication knowledge.
- Understanding of industrial safety standards.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
