Job Summary
The Steward/Senior Steward/Captain is responsible for delivering excellent guest service, ensuring smooth restaurant operations, maintaining hygiene standards, and supporting team efficiency. The role involves guest interaction, service execution, training (for senior and TR roles), and coordination between service and kitchen teams.
Key Responsibilities
For Steward / Senior Steward
- Greet guests warmly and ensure a positive dining experience
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and serve as per standards
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, service stations, and dining areas
- Follow SOPs for service, hygiene, and safety standards
- Assist in clearing tables and resetting them promptly
- Coordinate with kitchen and bar for timely service
- Handle guest requests and basic complaints politely
For Captain
- Supervise daily floor operations and allocate sections to stewards
- Ensure service quality, grooming standards, and SOP compliance
- Manage guest relations and resolve complaints effectively
- Upsell menu items and promotions
- Coordinate with kitchen and management to ensure smooth operations
- Monitor service timing and guest satisfaction
- Handle billing support and cash counter coordination if required
For Training Captain (TR Captain)
- Train new joiners on service procedures, menu knowledge, and SOPs
- Conduct on-the-job training and service demonstrations
- Monitor trainee performance and provide feedback
- Ensure consistency in service standards across shifts
- Support management in skill development and refresher training

Qualifications
- Minimum: 10th / 12th pass (Hotel Management preferred)
- Certification in Hospitality or F&B Service is an advantage
Experience
- Steward: 0–1 year
- Senior Steward: 1–3 years
- Captain: 3–5 years
- Training Captain: 4–6 years with training experience
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
