- Prepare annual plans, lesson plans, worksheets, and presentations.

- Maintain student records, attendance, and progress reports.
- Use smart boards and digital teaching tools.
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings, school events, and co-curricular activities.
- Perform other academic duties assigned by the principal.

A TGT Social Science teacher generally teaches Classes VI–X.
Key responsibilities:
- Teach History, Geography, Political Science, Civics, and Economics (as applicable).
