1. Educational Qualification
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology / Medical Imaging Technology
- Certification or registration with a recognized radiology board (if applicable in your country)
2. Technical Skills & Knowledge
- Proficiency in operating X-ray equipment (digital and conventional systems)
- Knowledge of radiographic positioning techniques
- Understanding of radiation safety protocols and protection standards
- Familiarity with PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System) and RIS (Radiology Information System)
- Basic knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pathology
3. Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic X-ray examinations as prescribed by physicians
- Ensure correct patient positioning for accurate imaging
- Maintain radiation safety for patients, self, and staff
- Prepare patients for procedures and explain processes clearly
- Maintain and check imaging equipment for proper functioning
- Process and evaluate image quality before submission to radiologists
- Keep accurate patient records and documentation
- Follow infection control and hygiene protocols
4. Experience
- Freshers may be considered (with internship experience)
- 1–3 years of experience preferred in hospitals or diagnostic centers

6. Physical & Work Requirements
- Ability to stand for long hours

- Use of protective equipment (lead aprons, shields, dosimeters)
- Knowledge of regulatory guidelines (e.g., local radiation control authority)
