Job Summary
We are looking for a driven and target-oriented fresher to join our Sales team. The candidate will generate business by meeting prospective and existing clients, promoting products through field visits, converting leads into orders, and growing the company's customer base. This role is ideal for engineering graduates who want to build a career in technical/B2B sales and business development.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and generate new business leads through field visits, referrals, and market research.
- Conduct regular client and customer visits to promote products, present technical specifications, and close sales.
- Coordinate with customers and clients to understand their requirements and pitch suitable products/solutions.
- Prepare and follow up on quotations, proposals, and orders through to closure.
- Build a strong pipeline of prospective clients and maintain long-term relationships to drive repeat business.
- Handle client queries related to products/pricing as part of the sales conversation, escalating technical support needs to the relevant team.
- Maintain accurate records of visits, leads, and sales in reporting formats.
- Coordinate with internal teams (technical, logistics, and dispatch) to ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of electrical/electronic products and terminology
- Strong communication, persuasion skills
- Willingness to travel extensively for client/field visits
- Target-driven, self-motivated, and confident approach to selling
- Basic computer skills (MS Office, Email, CRM/reporting tools)
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines under pressure.
