Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Design Manager to lead the mechanical design and development of CNC Machine Tools and Special Purpose Machines (SPM). The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the design team, developing innovative machine concepts, ensuring timely project execution, and coordinating with manufacturing, assembly, procurement, and customers.
Key Responsibilities
Design & Development
- Lead the design and development of CNC machine tools and SPMs.
- Prepare machine concepts based on customer requirements.
- Develop complete machine assemblies and detailed manufacturing drawings.
- Perform machine design calculations for structural strength, drives, bearings, linear guides, ball screws, and power transmission.
- Select suitable standard components from leading suppliers.
- Ensure designs are optimized for manufacturing, assembly, cost, and serviceability.
- Standardize machine modules and components.
Project Management
- Plan and monitor multiple design projects simultaneously.
- Ensure projects are completed within schedule and budget.
- Conduct design reviews and technical discussions.
- Track project milestones and engineering deliverables.

Software Knowledge
Must have experience in:
