- Maintain accurate financial records for hospital operations.
- Record daily financial transactions, including patient billing, receipts, and payments.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, including vendor and patient accounts.
- Reconcile bank accounts, cash collections, and general ledger balances.
- Monitor hospital revenue, expenses, and cash flow to support financial stability.
- Process payroll and ensure timely payment of salaries and statutory deductions.
- Prepare and file tax returns and ensure compliance with applicable financial and tax regulations.
- Coordinate with insurance providers to reconcile claims, reimbursements, and outstanding payments.
- Maintain fixed asset records and oversee depreciation schedules.
- Assist in preparing annual budgets, financial forecasts, and management reports.
- Support internal and external audits by providing financial records and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with hospital financial policies, accounting standards, and statutory requirements.
