Job Role Sr.Associate - System Automation Department System Automation Reporting to Lead - System Automation Sr. No Key Result Area Description 1 Pre-order support Review and understand the client’s requirements and technical specifications. Provide technical support to the sales and proposal teams, and offer guidance whenever required. 2Post - order work 1. Preparation of engineering documents such as P&ID drawings, cable schedules, IO lists, motor lists, and instrument lists using COMOS software.
2. Preparation and review of Electrical and Instrumentation documents, enquiry specifications, instrument datasheets, and documentation for electrical control panels and electrical materials wherever applicable.
3. Preparation of cable tray layouts and project BOQs.
4. Preparation and review of the operation philosophy.
5. Testing of electrical panels and instruments as per the approved operation philosophy.
6. Providing technical support for troubleshooting electrical and instrumentation issues at site.
7. Providing technical guidance and participating in electrical and instrumentation activities at the factory.
8. Coordinating with vendors and ensuring all technical queries related to instrument specifications are addressed.
9. Handing over finalized technical specifications to the purchase department for material procurement or bought-out items. 3. Coordination & Support 1. Provide technical support during the erection and commissioning stage after material delivery to the customer.
2. Address and resolve technical queries while ensuring timely support at the site.
3. Coordinate with all relevant departments to deliver effective solutions for client-related issues.
4. Visit the site for system commissioning or troubleshooting whenever required.4Technical Services1. Conduct testing of electrical panels and instruments and coordinate with vendors until full compliance is achieved.
2. Provide technical support for service calls.
3. Identify required actions for site-related issues and work towards achieving a high standard of performance.
4. Take proactive efforts to deliver effective and timely solutions. Competency: Qualification BE/ Btech - Electrical & InstrumentationExperience2-4 years of work experience Knowledge Strong knowledge of COMOS software, including both basic and advanced functionalities, with the ability to operate the software efficiently and carry out required modifications.
Proficient in instrumentation selection, reviewing panel drawings, and selecting feeders as per rated kW requirements.
Good understanding of PLC programming concepts. Technical Skills Experience in calibration of field instruments such as pressure transmitters, flow transmitters, level transmitters, control valves, and PID controllers.
Skilled in PLC software development for Siemens, Mitsubishi, and Allen Bradley systems. Proficient in preparing panel BOQs and BOMs.
Hands-on experience in managing documentation requirements for consultant-led projects such as EPC and EIL, as well as documentation for petrochemical, food & beverage, and pharmaceutical industries. Authorities 1. Provide technical inputs for automation system selection and specification.

3. Coordinate with vendors for technical clarifications.
4. Initiate purchase requests as required.
5. Approve site visits for troubleshooting and commissioning activities.
6. Escalate critical on-site issues to senior management.
7. Submit progress updates, testing reports, and site visit reports.
8. Coordinate closely with the service team for action planning.
9. Propose adoption of new technologies and tools.
10. Recommend enhancements in system design to improve cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
Pay: ₹200,000.00 - ₹700,000.00 per year
