Job Summary
The Gelato Server / Cashier is responsible for providing excellent customer service, serving gelato and desserts, maintaining hygiene standards, and handling billing and cash transactions efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting gelato flavors.
- Provide information about flavors, ingredients, and portion sizes.
- Offer tasting samples when required.
- Ensure customers have a pleasant experience.
Serving Gelato
- Scoop and serve gelato in cups, cones, or takeaway containers.
- Prepare gelato desserts, toppings, waffles, or other menu items as per store standards.
- Maintain proper portion control and presentation.
Cashier Duties
- Operate the POS system and process payments (cash, card, UPI, etc.).
- Issue receipts and manage billing accurately.
- Handle cash drawer and ensure correct cash balance at shift closing.
Store Hygiene & Maintenance
- Maintain cleanliness of the gelato display, counters, and service area.
- Follow food safety and hygiene standards.
- Refill toppings, cones, cups, and supplies as needed.
Inventory Support
- Monitor stock levels of cones, cups, toppings, and packaging.
- Inform supervisor when stock is low.
Teamwork
- Work closely with other staff members to ensure smooth store operations.
- Support during peak hours and busy periods.

Pay: ₹11,000.00 - ₹12,000.00 per month
