Role Summary
The Service Engineer will be responsible for installation, commissioning, calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of field instrumentation and automation systems at client sites, ensuring compliance with industrial standards and safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities
Installation & Commissioning
Installation of field instruments:
- Electromagnetic Flow Meters
- Ultrasonic Flow Meters
- Mass Flow Meters
- Radar / Ultrasonic Level Transmitters
- Pressure & Temperature Transmitters
Calibration & Testing
- Calibration of transmitters using standard reference equipment
- Documentation of calibration reports
- Verification of measurement accuracy
- Compliance with ISO / industrial calibration standards
Automation & Control Systems (Preferred Skillset)
- Basic PLC troubleshooting and I/O verification
- SCADA integration support
Maintenance & Service
- Preventive and breakdown maintenance
- Root cause analysis and corrective action
- Client training and technical briefing
- Timely service reporting and documentation
Qualification & Experience
- Diploma / B.E / B.Tech – Instrumentation / EEE / ECE/Mectronics
- 1–5 years relevant field experience
- Freshers with strong practical training may be considered
