Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Phlebotomist & Lab Technician to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting blood samples, performing laboratory tests, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring high standards of patient care and laboratory safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect blood samples from patients using proper venipuncture techniques.
- Label, process, and transport specimens accurately.
- Perform routine laboratory tests and procedures.
- Operate, maintain, and calibrate laboratory equipment.
- Record and report test results accurately.
- Follow infection control, safety, and quality assurance protocols.
- Assist healthcare professionals with diagnostic procedures.
- Maintain laboratory inventory and supplies.
Qualifications
- Diploma/Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT/DMLT/BMLT)
- Certification in Phlebotomy preferred.
- Previous experience in a clinical laboratory or diagnostic center is an advantage.
- Knowledge of laboratory procedures, specimen handling, and safety standards.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
