We are looking for a detail-oriented service head to manage our service department and handle customer service interactions, reports, and repairs. The service head's responsibilities include providing the highest level of customer service, developing lasting customer relationships, and managing the service team members. The service Head maintains a strong working knowledge of all industry standards and practices as well as the company's products and services.
To be successful as a service manager, you should display a strong sales-minded attitude as well as excellent leadership skills. You should also have the ability to develop and maintain strong, positive relationships with customers and third-party vendors.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all operational activities within the automotive company.
- Develop and implement efficient processes and procedures to enhance productivity.
- Oversee production schedules, inventory, and workforce management.
- Set and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to meet productivity and quality targets.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental guidelines.
- Collaborate with other departments to align operations with business objectives.
- Lead and mentor the operations team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Manage operational budgets, forecasting, and resource allocation.
- Analyze operational data and trends to identify areas for improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in operations management within the automotive industry.
- Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale production and operational processes.
- Strong understanding of industry standards, safety regulations, and best practices.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
